Job summary

CMX Powersports in Swift Current, SK is hiring a Golf Cart Technician to service and repair gas and electric golf cars and similar low-speed vehicles. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety checks during pre-delivery inspections.

Ideal candidates bring mechanical aptitude with electrical and small engine experience; training will be provided as needed. A valid driver’s licence and a customer-friendly attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with electrical and small engine work.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
• Experience with golf cars, powersports, small engines, or automotive service is an asset, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gas and electric golf cars (E-Z-GO and other makes).
• Electrical work: batteries, chargers, controllers, wiring, and diagnostics.
• Gas engine service: carburetion, fuel systems, belts, brakes, suspension.
• Seasonal fleet prep, inspections, preventative maintenance.
• Service utility carts, LSVs, and similar low-speed units.
• Order and track parts; keep service records.
• Pre-delivery inspection.

CMX Powersports is hiring a Golf Cart Technician to service and repair gas and electric golf cars and similar low-speed vehicles. We are Family-owned, local, and busy year-round.

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and repair gas and electric golf cars (E-Z-GO and other makes)
• Electrical work: batteries (lead-acid and lithium), chargers, controllers, solenoids, wiring, motor diagnostics
• Gas engine service: carburetion, fuel systems, belts, clutches, brakes, suspension
• Seasonal fleet prep, inspections, preventative maintenance
• Service utility carts, LSVs, and similar low-speed units
• Order and track parts; keep accurate service records
• Pre-delivery inspection

What we’re looking for:

• Mechanical aptitude with electrical and small engine work
• Experience with golf cars, powersports, small engines, or automotive service is an asset (we’ll train the right person)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools
• Valid driver's licence
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Customer-friendly attitude
