Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced operator to run and adjust folding/gluing equipment in our Mississauga facility. You will feed the gluer, assist on make-readies, and ensure smooth production while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes product quality, safe operations, and effective communication to support production flow. On-the-job training is provided; candidates should be team-oriented and able to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or acceptable experience.
• On-the-job related experience required.

• General clean up and adherence to safety policies.

Position Description:

• Adjusts and runs the gluing machine

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for operation of folding/gluing equipment
• Feeds Gluer
• Assist on make-readies
• Responsible for accurate record keeping, production sheets.
• Responsible for quality of product and efficiency of production.
• Communicates relevant information to facilitate the flow of production.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform make ready’s on all straight line and autobottom boxes
• General clean up.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in ongoing training.
• Not limited to and including other duties as assigned.

Safe Quality Food Responsibilities:

• Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
• Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
• Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
• Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
• Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.

Education and Experience Required:

• Grade 12 or acceptable experience.
• On-the-job related experience required.

Pay Range: $28.71 per hour - $31.63 per hour
