Job summary

Advance Paper Box is seeking a reliable Gluer Assistant for our 12-hour day shift from 7 am to 7 pm. This full-time role supports the folding carton production line with focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has manufacturing experience, good dexterity, and can lift heavy objects. On-site parking and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and a high school graduate.
• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing/production facility.
• Mechanical dexterity and ability to read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Feeding/Catching on the line machine to ensure proper products are running on the machine at all times.
• Conduct regular quality checks for all quality defects, damaged cartons, and mismatched products.
• Ensure proper quality standards are maintained as per company standards, and any defects are reported to the operator, coordinator, and manager immediately.
• Ensure the case count is accurate and correct case labels are applied.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all safety policies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Advance Paper Box is a fully integrated folding carton manufacturing facility including design, die-making, printing, die-cutting, and gluing. Our customers range from food and pharmaceutical manufacturers to computer software and automotive supply companies. We are looking for a full-time Gluer Assistant to join our team.

Note: This is a 12-hour shift from 7 am to 7 pm on the day shift.

2nd week- Wed, Thurs

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Feeding/Catching on the line machine to ensure proper products are running on the machine at all times.
• Conduct regular quality checks for all quality defects, damaged cartons, and mismatched products
• Ensures proper quality standards are maintained as per company standards, and any defects are reported to the operator, coordinator, and manager immediately.
• Ensure the case count is accurate and correct case labels are applied.

• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• At least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
• At least 1-year experience in a manufacturing/production facility.
• Mechanical dexterity, tape measure reading, math, and measuring skills.
• Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar job is an asset
