Job summary

ALS Group is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to manage our supply warehouse, pulp and reject storage, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving operations in Timmins, Ontario. The role emphasizes adherence to ALS procedures, safety policies, and quality control across inventories and lab supplies.

The position involves coordinating with finance and purchasing, performing admin tasks, and leading a small team.

Qualifications

Excellent command of English, strong verbal and written communication.
Strong customer service focus and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated judgement, creativity, integrity and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Oversee and improve warehouse operations and daily flow according to ALS standards.
Maintain inventory integrity and manage ordering of cylinder gases for the lab.
Coordinate pulp and reject storage, disposal and client invoicing.
Manage sample disposition and monthly invoicing.
Enforce ALS policies and safety guidelines; train staff.
Handle administrative duties and workorder entry; shipping and receiving procedures.
Maintain shipping documentation and cost-effective transport, including international shipments.
