Job summary

BRP is seeking a global technical product advisor who will report to the global product support team lead for our Sea Doo brand and who will be tasked with providing product support to our dealer/distributor network for technical concerns. You’ll ensure consistent alignment of our brand promise, actual product and support performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technician (mechanic) experience in repair, troubleshooting, testing or maintenance in Auto, Marine or Powersports industry.
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems and Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing internal processes, with ability to problem solve and transfer best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide global product support to dealer/distributor network for technical concerns to ensure alignment of brand promise, product, and support performance.
  • Deliver technical support for on-water products with consistent service levels.
  • Maintain alignment for after-sales policies and procedures to minimize waste and strengthen finances.

Job description

BRP is seeking a global technical product advisor who will report to the global product support team lead for our Sea Doo brand and who will be tasked with providing product support to our dealer/distributor network for technical concerns. As part of your role, you’ll ensure consistent alignment of our brand promise, actual product and support performance. In addition to being part of a dynamic and motivated team, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on our organization by providing a great service experience.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To
  • Provide global product support to our dealer/distributor network for technical concerns to ensure consistent alignment of our brand promise, actual product and support performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of technical support for on-water products, with consistent alignment of service levels.
  • Maintain and strengthen alignment for BRP after-sales policies and procedures to minimize waste and be financially strong.
  • Support consumer product issues in ways that strengthen our network and brand image to sustain high success.
  • Support and identify communication needs and resolve product-related problems to improve the future product.
  • Ensure communication with different stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Assure alignment of warranty decisions and practices with company expectations in ways that contribute to its ongoing success.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES
  • 3 + years of technician (mechanic) experience in repair, troubleshooting, testing or maintenance in the Auto, Marine or Powersports Industry.
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems and Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing internal processes, with the ability to problem solve, deescalate and transfer best practices.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • The ability to travel up to 5% of the year.
Assets
  • An associate’s degree in mechanic/maintenance technician or similar.
  • Consistently striving to make a difference in the service experience and improve negotiating skills.
  • Experience running successful support teams; hiring, mentoring, and training are all within your comfort zone.
  • Experience providing quality services and resolving difficult situations. Innovation is where you shine.
  • The ability to connect the dots between product, dealer support, and customer experience.
