BRP, a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, invites a Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years to join our Valcourt, Quebec team. You will shape the vision, contribute to product architecture, and drive development across multiple disciplines.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide prototype development, and manage timelines. Bilingual in English and French is required; travel may be required. BRP offers strong benefits and a dynamic, innovative culture.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• CATIA proficiency in parts, assembly, mechanism, and FEA.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Shape the vision driving innovative product development.
• Contribute to product architecture across development phases.
• Develop and communicate strategies for new offerings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various development steps.
• Oversee prototype component development and assembly.

• Contribute to the development of product architecture and to all development phases
• Develop and communicate strategies that steer the organization toward new and innovative product offerings
• Work on different steps of the product development process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in the development of components and follow up on the production and assembly of prototypes
• Manage various systems according to set deadlines

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Mechanical engineer or equivalent
• Ten years and more of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in CATIA, parts, assembly, mechanism and FEA
• Enjoy working with little information; not affected by “blank page syndrome’’
• Comfortable working with various technologies and types of products
• Proven innovator
• Desire to continuously learn and grow professionally
• Good knowledge of automotive mechanics is an asset
• Keen interest in recreational powersports products
• Willingness to travel on occasion
• Interested in new tech trends
