Job summary

Pason Systems Corp. is seeking a motivated Global Shipper/Receiver to join our Calgary warehouse. You will manage international shipping compliance, Canadian shipments, and global receiving operations in a self-directed, safety-conscious environment.

The role requires precise paperwork, communication with brokers and internal teams, and hands-on packing, loading, and cycle counts. A high school diploma and 5+ years in warehouse/logistics are preferred, with benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Scan all incoming shipments and transfers.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips; record shortages and discrepancies.
• Count and verify received materials and place in storage areas.
• Maintain receiving logs for Canadian and International shipments and file paperwork.
• Contact internal employees when shipments arrive; liaise with other business units.
• Determine shipment method and prepare required documentation (invoices, NAFTA, etc.).
• Assemble containers, pack goods, and prepare shipping instructions.
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems and compliance paperwork.
• Liaise with brokers and freight forwarders; coordinate with customers.
• Support loading/unloading of delivery trucks; participate in cycle counts.
• Ensure schedules are met; perform general warehouse duties including forklift use.

The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Global Shipper/Receiver to join our Warehouse team. This role supports international shipping compliance, Canadian shipping, and global receiving operations. You’ll thrive in a self-directed environment that values accountability, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Scan all incoming shipments and transfers
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or other documents, record shortages, investigate discrepancies and reject damaged goods
• Count and verify received materials and place in appropriate storage areas
• Maintain receiving logs for Canadian and International shipments and file all paperwork accordingly
• Contact internal employees when shipments arrive
• Act as a liaison with other business units to assist with their specific shipping needs.
• Determine method of shipment and prepare required documentation (waybills, commercial invoices, FCC, declaration of owner, NAFTA certificate, foreign shippers declaration, B13, and any other required shipping documents)
• Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems. (RMS, CNA cargo insurance certificates, Canadian automated export declaration, International export regulations (Migra) and other internal folders)
• Liaison with US brokers, Canadian/International freight forwarders as well as internal and external customers
• Work with the Shipping Lead and other experts to ensure compliance with international shipments
• Verify that the packing list and products reconcile on every order
• Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Participate in monthly Warehouse cycle counts
• Effectively work with other Warehouse team members to ensure all schedules are being met
• General warehouse duties as required, including operating a forklift
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines in all aspects of work
