Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, product management, market analysis, or related role.
• Strong understanding of transformer insulation materials/technologies.
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and assess impact on the transformer insulation portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to differentiate products via insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
• Evaluate technical requirements and conduct competitive assessments to uncover product improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance technical specifications to ensure product competitiveness and customer value.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives through benchmarking activities and quality feedback analysis.
• Support compliance with international regulations and industry standards across the product lifecycle.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, product management, market analysis, or a related role within the transformer, insulation, pulp and paper, or energy industry.
• Strong technical understanding of transformer insulation materials, transformer technologies, or related industrial products.
• Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning activities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities effectively.

In compliance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, the expected compensation for this role is:

Salary Range: $113,700 - $142,100 CAD
