Job summary

DECIEM Inc in Canada seeks an Associate Manager, Product Marketing - Global to drive end-to-end product marketing for The Ordinary across the portfolio. You will craft positioning, manage product claims, develop briefs, and coordinate with R&D, Finance, Creative, Legal, Brand and Partnerships to bring innovations to market.

The role demands 3+ years in product marketing for beauty/CPG, with cross-functional leadership and strong communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product marketing management or a comparable role within a global beauty/CPG brand.
• Experience developing product briefs and defining compelling messaging strategies.
• Experience collaborating with Legal and Regulatory teams is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Product Marketing workstreams for new product development, ensuring cross-functional progress and launch milestones.
• Develop product positioning, claims, and packaging copy; secure regulatory/Legal approvals as needed.
• Own product briefs and present for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Finance on target costs and pricing; influence packaging development.
• Support global brand campaigns, manage NPD product samples, and coordinate cross-functional availability.
• Own product data management and be the point of contact for data inquiries.
• Monitor market/competitive intelligence and identify whitespace for portfolio opportunities.
• Champion the Icons initiative to enhance hero products and drive portfolio optimization.
• Lead portfolio analysis and strategic recommendations for brand decisions.
