Job summary

Profound Medical seeks a Manager for Global Events & Medical Education to lead planning, coordination, and execution of global congresses, trade shows, advisory boards, and physician education programs in North America and international markets.

Reporting to Global Marketing, you’ll partner with Sales, Clinical, and Commercial Leadership to drive clinical adoption and brand presence, while maintaining tight budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years global event management experience, medical device industry preferred.
• Flawless execution of global congresses and physician programs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Efficient budget management and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute North American and international congresses, trade shows, and industry meetings.
• Manage end-to-end logistics including booth planning, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Oversee event budgets and track performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain global event calendars and project management systems to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and strong field alignment.
• Develop and maintain best practices and operational standards for conferences and trade shows.
• Own annual event budget planning, forecasting, and ongoing budget management across global congresses, trade shows, physician programs, and medical education activities.
• Develop and maintain event budget trackers to monitor spend, identify risks, and ensure alignment with approved financial targets.
• Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, and cost optimization efforts to maximize event impact and return on investment.
