Job summary

EventMobi is a remote-first company seeking a seasoned event marketer to own and grow our global events program. You’ll lead tradeshow strategy, budgeting, messaging and on-site execution, while collaborating with Demand Gen, Sales, and Customer Success to drive pipeline.

This player-coach role requires 8+ years in B2B event marketing, a track record running large trade shows and a mid-size user conference, and strong event-tech experience. Expect monthly travel across North America and Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate event marketing at a B2B company.
• Managed a high volume of third-party trade shows and sponsored events portfolio.
• Involved in planning and execution of a mid-size user conference and exclusive dinner series.
• Strong Event Tech experience. Registration platforms, lead capture apps, badge printing and event app builds using EventMobi’s competitors.
• Bonus points if you already know this industry from the inside. IMEX, MPI, PCMA, CSAE, ASAE are familiar acronyms to you.
• Owned an event budget and can show what each event returned in pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Own the Tradeshow Floor: calendar, budget, messaging, pre-show marketing, booth, staffing, on-site execution.
• Make every sponsored event pay off: manage on-site presence, grow database with opt-ins, partner with Customer Success and Marketing.
• Build EventMobi’s Owned Events: design format, agenda, speakers, venue, and marketing to fill the room.
• Run It Like Your Business: maintain truth for events, forecast budget, and report to VP Marketing.
