Job summary

Affir is seeking a Senior Manager of Security Incident Response to lead global investigations from detection through recovery. You will guide complex investigations, build readiness, and scale capabilities across regions, while integrating AI-enabled workflows with human oversight and security safeguards.

You will manage a technically deep response team, set priorities, coach engineers, and translate complex metrics into executive reporting for board visibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security operations or incident response.
• Lead major security incidents and investigations in cloud-native environments.
• Strong fundament in investigations, detection, root-cause analysis, and forensics.
• Experience in fintech/payments is a plus; AI-enabled workflows welcome.
• Experience leading technical or engineering teams and setting priorities.
• Proven ability to build scalable, repeatable response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead security incidents end-to-end from detection to remediation and postmortem.
• Act as incident commander for major events and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Guide investigations with engineering, validate fixes, and ensure durable actions.
• Develop a depth of incident command and readiness across regions.
• Shape AI-enabled investigation workflows with appropriate safeguards.
• Translate incidents and metrics into executive dashboards and risk reporting.
