Job summary

FedEx in Delta, BC is looking for an interview-position clerk to verify import information, request clearance instructions and broker designation, and handle import paperwork. You'll trace and resolve problem shipments, update shipment status, and provide accurate international shipment information to customers to ensure the best experience possible.

Minimum requirements include Canadian high school/GED, six months of learning time, ability to lift 70 lbs and operate in a PC Windows environment;

• Relevant professional accreditation/certification: None.
• Minimum six months learning/adjustment time required.

Responsibilities

• Verify import information, request clearance instructions and broker designation.
• Process import paperwork including resolution, tracing and tracking of problem shipments and updating shipment status.
• Provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring international shipment information.
