About The Role

As the Global Head of Product Development, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead product innovation and development, ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of all tech platforms while aligning product offerings with market needs and regulatory requirements in the financial space.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure that product development is aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and client needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

1. Drive Product Development strategy by leading the design and development of core financial platforms, such as trading systems, risk management tools, and data reporting, with a focus on automation, compliance, and performance optimization.
2. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, for digital and data solutions including client onboarding tools, investor portals, data analytics engines, and real-time risk dashboards.
3. Lead a team of Product Owners in aligning technology roadmap to business goals and delivering initiatives to create business value.
4. Ensure regulatory alignment by embedding KYC, AML, and data protection standards into every stage of product development, staying ahead of evolving compliance requirements.
5. Act as a strategic bridge between engineering, product, compliance, and client delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, client-centric, and ready to scale.
6. Apply Agile methodology to project estimation and execution.
7. Monitor fintech trends, including AI, blockchain, and real-time payments, to identify innovative opportunities and position the platform at the forefront of the industry.
8. Collaborate with C-suite, investors, and cross-regional stakeholders to shape product vision, ensure business alignment, and drive global execution.

Primary Skills & Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MFin) or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, SAFe, AWS, CFA) is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in product development and/or technology leadership within the financial services or fintech industry, including experience managing cross-functional, global teams.
3. Proven track record of overseeing complex product lifecycles and delivering scalable digital platforms in regulated environments.
4. Deep expertise and experience in organizational Agile transformation and Agile project management.
5. Experience in the Capital Markets or Asset Management industry.
6. Specific industry experience in Prime Brokerage, Risk Management, Fund Administration or Hedge Funds is desirable.
7. Strong technical foundation with the ability to engage in high-level architectural discussions and translate business needs into product solutions.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a shared product vision.
9. Deep understanding of financial regulatory environments, including KYC, AML, data privacy, and cybersecurity best practices.
10. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, evaluate emerging technologies, and develop strategies that differentiate the product offering in competitive markets.
