Job summary

Henry Schein One is seeking a General Manager, Academic to lead the global growth of the Academic Product portfolio with full P&L accountability. You will scale SaaS businesses internationally, build cross-functional teams, and strengthen partnerships across academic institutions, dental distributors, and industry bodies.

You will drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer success while maintaining a high-performance culture and collaboration with other Henry Schein organizations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Enterprise SaaS leadership, with public sector experience
• Direct P&L ownership and global scaling track record
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, CS)
• Strong commercial/financial acumen: revenue, budgeting, growth
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and collaboration skills
• Experience coaching leaders and developing talent while delivering results
• Growth mindset: curious, adaptive, and change-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Academic Product portfolio, accountable for revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Achieve sales and growth targets through KPI-driven strategies.
• Drive new business development, marketing initiatives, and market expansion.
• Ensure excellence in customer service, onboarding, and technical support.
• Cascade objectives and KPIs across all business functions.
• Build a high-performance culture with strong engagement and recognition.
• Collaborate with Henry Schein organizations to unlock mutual growth opportunities.
• Represent HSOne at industry associations and academic communities.
• Partner with global product/tech leaders to translate needs into scalable product innovation.
