As General Manager, Academic, you will lead the global growth and success of Henry Schein One’s Academic Product portfolio. With full P&L accountability, you’ll drive revenue, profitability, and market share through innovative sales and marketing strategies, operational excellence, and customer success.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can scale SaaS businesses internationally, build and inspire cross-functional teams, and strengthen our partnerships across academic institutions, dental distributors, and global industry bodies. You will be responsible for ensuring Henry Schein One continues to set the standard for academic dental software worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the global Academic Product portfolio, accountable for revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Achieve sales and growth targets through KPI-driven strategies.
• Drive new business development, marketing initiatives, and market expansion.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in Enterprise SaaS, selling into public sector
• Proven record of scaling businesses globally with direct P&L ownership.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen - revenue, growth, budgeting.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Success).
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and how they align to business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between Product & Engineering
• Experience bringing products to new markets
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience coaching leaders and developing talent while delivering results.

The posted range for this position is CAD $220000 – CAD $250000, representing the expected starting base salary for candidates from entry-level proficiency in the role through to highly experienced. Final offers will be determined based on a combination of prior experience, skills, education, and market alignment.
