Job summary

Henry Schein One, a global leader in dental practice management software, seeks an experienced CPA to lead the Canadian finance function. The role covers financial reporting, controls, compliance, and transactional finance, with a focus on governance and strategic decision support.

A hybrid arrangement requires 1–2 days in office at our Surrey, BC location. Leading a small team, you will collaborate with international finance to set targets, forecast, and drive improvements, while maintaining

Qualifications

CPA designation and post-designation experience in finance leadership.
Experience in SaaS/tech sector with strong governance and reporting.
Proven ability to lead a high-performing finance team and partner with business leaders.
Demonstrated ability to manage monthly/ quarterly financial reporting and budgeting.
Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Oversee Canadian accounting and reporting with direct line management of accountants.
Deliver timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting and evolve reporting capabilities.
Lead finance functions including financial control, reporting, and transactional activities in Canada.
Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP policies; collaborate with US teams.
Lead annual statutory audit and liaison with external auditors.
Drive continuous improvement and automation of finance processes.
Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights for growth.
