Job summary

Robinhood is expanding its International engineering initiative from Toronto, Canada, seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to bridge high‑performance frontend interfaces with resilient backend systems. You will design and deliver localized onboarding, multi‑currency funding, and region‑specific trading experiences while upholding security, compliance, and reliability.

You will lead complex technical designs with product and compliance partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production systems across the full stack.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies and frameworks (React, TypeScript) with emphasis on performance and accessibility.
• Strong experience building scalable distributed services in Go or Python, using relational and NoSQL databases and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Architecture & Engineering: develop and maintain high-quality frontend interfaces (React/TypeScript) and scale backend services (Go/Python).
• Global Product Launches: own technical delivery of international capabilities including localized onboarding and multi-currency funding rails.
• Growth and User Acquisition: build localization, growth mechanisms, and onboarding experiences for international markets.
• Reusable Internationalization Platforms: architect scalable i18n/l10n services for future jurisdictions.
• System Reliability & Observability: ensure high availability, low latency, and implement telemetry and automated testing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Product, Design, Compliance, Legal, and Platform teams to translate jurisdictional requirements into technical solutions.
