Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Toronto to architect, build, and scale backend services and data systems for crypto and wallet offerings. You will provide technical leadership to deliver a best-in-class trading experience for customers worldwide, solving complex distributed systems challenges in a 24/7 environment.

The role focuses on building scalable infrastructure across Robinhood Chain, Tokenization, and DeFi integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of experience writing low-latency, large-scale distributed systems for crypto domains.
• Proficiency in Go or Python with production debugging skills.
• Strong ownership and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team and across engineering teams.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading initiatives.
