Robinhood in Toronto, ON is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers focused on launching crypto and other financial products internationally. You will define technical strategy, review architectures, ensure reliability and security at scale, and mentor engineers across product, design, and compliance partners as we expand to new regions.

This role requires 5+ years of software engineering and 2+ years of people leadership, with distributed systems experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership / engineering management.
• Experience shipping complex products with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team of engineers with clear goals and feedback.
• Define technical direction and prioritize work with product partners.
• Ensure backend services are reliable, scalable, and secure at scale.
• Hire, onboard, and evaluate engineers on the team.
• Collaborate with product, design, compliance, and other leads to deliver initiatives on schedule.
