Job summary

British Council in Toronto is seeking a Recognition Coordinator, Higher Education, to grow partnerships with Recognising Organisations and government bodies. You will support strategy, manage a diverse portfolio, and help drive sales readiness through strong stakeholder engagement.

You will collaborate with legal, commercial and delivery teams to create scalable partner models, develop value narratives, and ensure excellent customer experience across recognition services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Business or Education.
• Proven success in key account management for global products or services.
• Experience delivering complex global products or programmes to achieve business objectives.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify growth opportunities and respond to market changes.
• Strategic thinker able to translate insight into clear, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Recognising Organisations and government partners, ensuring high-quality service.
• Support go-to-market plans and bid processes with cross-functional teams.
• Translate propositions into compelling sales narratives and enablement materials.
• Coordinate activity across multiple stakeholders and act as a primary contact for operations.
• Represent the British Council in meetings, negotiations and sector forums to build trusted relationships.
