Job summary

Arc’teryx is seeking a Demand Planner to build rolling forecasts for assigned categories and translate assortment plans into demand projections. You will contribute to the IBP cycle, reconciling top-down targets with SKU-level forecasts, and provide volume outlooks to guide capacity and buys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Merchandise Planning.
• Experience with demand forecasting, including statistical forecasting and advanced Excel.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs.
• Experience with new product forecasting and building demand curves.
• Experience with tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle.
• Ability to work across large, complex data environments.
• Analytical, able to translate data into insights and support consensus planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop rolling near and long-term demand forecast for assigned category, 1-5 years, with baseline statistical forecasts and translating assortment plans into demand projections.
• Participate in the IBP cycle to build a consensus demand plan, reconciling top-down financial targets with bottom-up SKU-level forecasts.
• Provide volume outlooks to Supply Planning to support capacity and buy decisions, and building demand curves for new product launches.
• Conduct scenario and risk planning, identifying demand risks and supply constraints, and communicating findings to cross-functional partners.
