Job summary

Pebl is seeking a highly technical Director of Data to lead our data strategy, infrastructure, and AI integration. You will be the chief storyteller for our data and the evangelist for our AI Everywhere initiative, ensuring Pebl’s data assets are secure, accessible, and actionable.

Based out of Palo Alto with in-office collaboration required at our Toronto office Monday through Wednesday, you will bridge R&D and core business functions, driving data-driven growth and efficiency across the

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead data strategy and governance.
• Experience in AI-native initiatives and ML deployment.
• Strong cross-functional business acumen and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute Pebl’s modern data infrastructure.
• Serve as technical authority for data engineering and data governance.
• Drive actionable insights across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance and Legal.
• Lead AI-native transformation and integration across products and operations.
• Recruit and mentor a high-performing data engineering and analytics team.
