Job summary

Geotab Inc. is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to manage complex corporate and commercial agreements, including cross-border transactions, and to support regulatory compliance across technology, privacy and data governance.

You will work closely with senior management on strategic initiatives, post-acquisition integrations, risk management, and commercial drafting. A Ontario license to practice law is required and the team offers a flexible hybrid setup and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law with Ontario license to practice.
• Broad corporate and M&A experience, especially tech transactions.
• Knowledge of data privacy and AI laws.
• Strong negotiation, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex corporate and commercial agreements, including cross-border transactions.
• Support post-acquisition integration and restructuring initiatives.
• Advise on risk management and corporate structuring.
• Draft and negotiate commercial, licensing, debt, and vendor agreements.
• Provide legal support for product design and HR matters.
