Job summary

Scotiabank seeks a Project Manager for Global Compliance Program Delivery in Toronto, Canada. You will lead cross-functional teams across Compliance, Technology and Risk to ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives, guiding scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance.

The role requires strong planning, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams using Agile, hybrid, or waterfall methods.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive project management or delivery experience.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience with project planning, financial management, risk and issue management, governance, implementation, and executive reporting.
• Experience with project and collaboration tools such as PPM, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day planning and execution of assigned compliance, regulatory, technology, or business transformation projects and workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project charters, objectives, scope, integrated plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and closure activities.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and ensure responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria are clear.
• Monitor progress against approved baselines and recommend corrective actions when delivery deviates from plan.
• Support Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery approaches based on project needs and enterprise standards.
