Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Winnipeg is seeking a Glazing Project Manager to join our Winnipeg branch. Candidate will manage commercial glazing projects from award through completion, coordinating with field teams, customers, consultants and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial construction as Project Coordinator, Estimator, or Project Manager.
• Commercial glazing experience required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience working directly with customers and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Education in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field considered an asset.
• Experience with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar software considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial glazing projects from award through completion
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents
• Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and labor targets
• Coordinate manpower, procurement, fabrication, and installation activities
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors
• Identify project risks and negotiate practical solutions
• Manage project documentation and change orders
• Lead project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings
• Collaborate closely with field teams and operations staff
• Ensure project safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved
