Position: President & CEO | Business Administration, CRM, Strategy

Overview: The GL Lead will serve as a support person to the Accounting Manager and lead to Staff and Junior Accountants within the department. The GL Lead will be cross-trained and easily adaptable to any primary function within the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the period-end general ledger closing, financial statement reviews and analysis, and compilation and distribution of financial statements to the CFO and Accounting Manager.
2. Develop and assist with project profitability analysis and other ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
3. Prepare month-end journal entries.
4. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
5. Reconcile related party transactions.
6. Prepare quarterly estimated federal and state tax payments.
7. Complete quarterly disclosure and schedule of accounts.
8. Assist with Physical Inventory Count.
9. Assist with year-end audit preparations and yearly tax return.
10. Forecast and analyze current trends with reserves to confirm accuracy across multiple entities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
2. 3+ years of related accounting experience.
3. Familiar with accounts payable activities.
4. Excellent mathematical skills.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting standards.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and systems; knowledge of SAP or CRM software is a plus.
7. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
8. Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
9. Effective relationship builder with superior interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with a strong business acumen.
11. Driven and results-oriented with the ability to take initiatives, prioritize, and multitask.
