Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Delta, BC is seeking a Gifts & Camo Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and drive exceptional customer service. You will lead a team, delegate tasks, train staff on procedures, and maintain visual standards while supporting other store areas as needed.

Open weekends and store hours require flexibility. Prior supervisory experience in a retail or outdoor lifestyle environment is preferred, with knowledge of our products a plus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment.
• Open availability including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations.
• Ability to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to the department team in partnership with the manager.
• Delegate tasks and assign work with clear direction and follow-up.
• Foster growth and development by training SOPs and processes.
• Ensure staff follow procedures and report violations to the manager.
• Perform administrative tasks for the department.
• Deliver legendary customer service by assessing needs and recommending products.
• Promote company programs to staff and customers.
• Maintain in-store visuals, signage, restocking and remerchandising.
• Respond to customer issues using good judgment and resolve problems.
• Assist in other store areas when needed.
