Job summary

The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a Manager, Gift Processing to lead national gift processing operations and ensure accurate donor data across the country, excluding Quebec. You will manage data entry, receipting and reconciliation while optimizing processes and collaborating with the finance and DAS teams.

You will oversee staff both locally and remotely, drive quality and timeliness, and align with CCS safety standards while supporting a growth-oriented, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary education with three or more years of fundraising data entry or gift processing experience.
• Experience in a management/supervisory role with local and remote staff.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Experience with Salesforce, Luminate or CRM is an asset.
• Knowledge of basic general accounting procedures and CRA tax receipting is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• English required; French/Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manage all day-to-day activities, timelines and deliverables regarding data entry, gift processing and receipting.
• Ensures data integrity and quality standards across donor records.
• Produces data quality, cleanup and regular performance reports.
• Evaluates ongoing staffing needs based on gift volumes to meet service level agreements.
• Handles storage and archiving of gift information.
• Recommends improvements to data entry protocols and gift management processes.
• Supports national finance team with reconciliation and adjustments as needed.
• Supports DAS team with system changes and upgrades.
• Keeps current on best practices in data management.
• Manages requests/projects from CCS departments relating to gift processing and donor service.
• Works in compliance with safety regulations and fosters a high-performance culture.
