Job description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance of a territory caseworker assignment;
  2. Ongoing maintenance of the assigned projects;
  3. Monitoring: Protocol adherence;
  4. Documentation in case files (electronic and hard files);
  5. Database use and accuracy of information collected;
  6. Phone calls for accuracy of content and telephone etiquette;
  7. Participation in client consultations and working sessions in collaboration with the manager or in the manager’s absence;
  8. Identification of training needs based on monitoring and lead refresher training as required and determined necessary in collaboration with the manager;
  9. With the manager, participate in the hiring and training process of new staff;
  10. Identification of needs for modification of program database, protocols and current processes;
  11. Daily and on-going client project communications;
  12. Assistance and backup to the manager;
  13. Client reporting;
  14. Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments;
  15. The Associate Program Manager will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  1. Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline;
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (or similar);
  3. RN / RPN license an asset;
  4. Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset;
  5. Project management experience is an asset.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
  1. Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry;
  2. Strong business and financial acumen;
  3. Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
  4. Strong communication, both internally and externally, as well as interpersonal and leadership skills;
  5. Effective organizational skills; attention to detail;
  6. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and multitask;
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently;
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  9. Adaptability to change and to learn new skills as required;
  10. Excellent presentation skills;
  11. Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint);
