AgeCare Gibson in North York, ON is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents, in collaboration with the health care team. You will oversee Personal Support Workers and ensure care plans meet required standards.

The role requires a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and a member in good standing. The position is casual and on-site at AgeCare Gibson, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of geriatric and long-term care nursing practices.
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Ability to provide direction to Personal Support Workers.

Responsabilidades

• Implement AgeCare policies on the unit in collaboration with RPNs.
• Liaise with physicians and health care team; notify physician of significant changes.
• Work with team to ensure residents' care needs are met.
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers on the care team.
• Participate in shift reports to relay resident status changes.
