Prairie Mountain Health in Dauphin, MB seeks a Mental Health Resource Nurse (MHRN) to lead senior mental health care within transitional, acute and long-term care settings. This role provides recovery-focused, patient/family-centered care and acts as a resource for navigating the mental health system.

The MHRN supports staff with PIECES-informed assessments, care plans, and crisis intervention. Must hold a nursing degree and MB RN licensure with 3 years MH experience.

Formación

• Baccalaureate degree in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Manitoba.
• Three years of relevant mental health clinical experience in the last five years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and IT applications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead interdisciplinary team through assessments and identify bio-psycho-social needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with staff collaboration.
• Provide education and support to families navigating mental health services.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions within MH system.
• Contribute to documentation and quality improvement initiatives.
