Job summary

Chartwell Vista Retirement Community in Esquimalt, BC, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to plan, coordinate and evaluate the nutritional care of residents, in line with Program Standards. This is a part-time, on-site role within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will perform initial and quarterly nutritional assessments, monitor texture-modified diets and supplements, contribute to care plans, and liaise with the Food Service Manager to ensure appropriate menus for

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current provincial College membership.
• Knowledge of geriatric nutrition and dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and quarterly nutritional assessments for residents.
• Monitor residents' weight and nutrition needs, including texture-modified diets and supplements.
• Develop and evaluate nutrition care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with Food Service to adapt menus to individual dietary requirements.
