Thurber Engineering Ltd. seeks a Geotechnical Engineering Intern to work across Oakville, St. Catharines, or Pickering with mentorship from senior staff. You’ll contribute to field investigations, logging, and instrumentation for varied projects in Ontario.
Early career applicants will gain experience in inspection, testing, data interpretation, and report writing while supporting project teams on-site and in-office as needed.

Thurber has an exciting opportunity for an early career Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our team inOakville, St. Catharines, or Pickering, Ontario.
Thurber provides geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services for a variety of industries across Canada. Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to work on problems related to earth, the environment and construction materials. We solve problems in a wide variety of industries including transportation, building construction, municipal infrastructure, land development, dams and water resources, industrial development, mining, oil and gas, marine and environmental services.
As our Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will work on varied projects and develop your skills with guidance and mentorship from our senior team.
This is an early career position and will be comprised of regular field activities progressively transitioning toward more office based activities, with opportunities for continued career growth within the company.
