McElhanney Ltd. in Western Canada invites Geomatics graduates to join their team for hands-on field and office experience on real Northern BC projects.

Start May/June 2027 or after graduation, with exposure to GNSS, total stations, 3D laser scanning, and modern geomatics tools while developing practical surveying skills. You'll work outdoors on active sites, travel for extended periods, and receive mentorship within a safety-forward culture.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Geomatics (completed or near completion).
• Interest in field-based, hands-on work.
• Physical ability to work on active sites and lift equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Previous outdoor or labour experience is an asset.

Mansioni

• Support field surveys using GNSS receivers, total stations, and RPAS.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare files, maps, field notes and survey data.
• Research plans, titles, records, and other geospatial information.
• Maintain, monitor, and report on the condition of survey equipment and vehicles.
• Work across field and office environments, including urban sites and remote locations.
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D laser scanning and reality capture tools.
• Participate in safety practices and Think Safe, Work Safe, Get Home Safe.
• Expect early starts, active days, and plenty of time outdoors.
