Job summary

SLR Consulting (Canada) is seeking a Geochemist to join a team of hydrogeologists, geochemists and water resource engineers in western Canada. You will support projects in Canada, Australia and Chile, working on ARD/ML assessments and related data collection, reporting and modeling.

The role offers opportunities to develop groundwater and load-balance modeling using Excel or GoldSim, with field sampling, data interpretation and technical reporting as part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Academic background in geology, geochemistry, or related specializations.
• Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
• Professional registration or eligibility to register as GIT or EIT.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret geochemical and mineralogical data, including ABA data.
• Collaborate to develop inputs to water and contaminant load balance models.
• Prepare technical reports documenting methodology, parameters, results and effects.
• Contribute to planning and QA/QC and present results in tables/graphs.
