Job summary

Peterson is seeking a General Manager, Property Management for Mirvish Village in Toronto. You will oversee operating and capital budgets, optimize asset value, and enhance tenant and guest experiences across a large-scale mixed-use property.

Leading a diverse team, you will coordinate with food hall, bar, and kitchen operators, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver strong NOI while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Urban Land Economics, or related field preferred.
• Advanced education or a professional designation is an asset.
• 11 to 15 years of experience managing complex mixed-use assets including commercial and residential components.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, analysis, cost control, and revenue optimization experience.
• Knowledge of Ontario regulations and lease structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating and capital budgets, monitor financial performance, and address variances.
• Oversee rent collection, arrears, and financial reporting to support decision-making.
• Drive NOI through cost control and revenue optimization; regular reporting to ownership.
• Ensure property complies with applicable regulations and is well maintained.
• Lead vendor management and oversee maintenance, capital projects, and tenant improvements.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and handoffs between leasing and operations teams.
• Deliver superior service to tenants, residents, and food hall operators; respond to requests promptly.
