  • Identify and advance market opportunities in collaboration with sales, customers, and internal stakeholders, positioning the product line for long-term competitiveness.
Product, Engineering & Innovation Leadership
  • Own the ITH product portfolio and lead strategic product roadmap development across the full product lifecycle.
  • Translate market intelligence, customer requirements, and business objectives into differentiated product strategies and disciplined execution plans.
  • Champion engineering excellence, technical innovation, manufacturability, performance, quality, and cost competitiveness in collaboration with Sandvik’s broader engineering network.
Customer & Market Engagement
  • Serve as a senior technical and commercial representative for the ITH business unit, supporting strategic customer discussions and complex solution development.
  • Strengthen customer confidence by balancing commercial objectives, operational capability, technical feasibility, and long‑term customer value.
Operational Excellence
  • Lead manufacturing operations, supply chain interfaces, quality, safety, delivery performance, capacity planning, and industrialization of new products.
  • Drive operational discipline and continuous improvement to ensure the unit delivers reliably, efficiently, and in support of business growth.
  • Ensure operational decisions support customer commitments, profitability, employee safety, and sustainable performance.
People & Culture Leadership
  • Build, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
  • Act as a visible and credible leader across the Winnipeg Unit and global Sandvik network, strengthening engagement, collaboration, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness.
Candidate Profile

A senior leader with a track record of managing complex industrial, manufacturing, engineering, product, or commercial operations. An enterprise-minded leader who can set long-term business direction while ensuring disciplined operational execution, supported by sound judgement, financial acumen, and credibility at all levels of the organization. A credible relationship builder who can influence across functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups while inspiring teams through change, growth, and performance expectations.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
