Job summary

The 401 Group of Companies is seeking an Automotive General Manager in Hamilton to lead a high‑performing dealership team across sales, service, and fixed operations.

You will drive profitability, build customer relationships, and implement training and compliance programs to ensureexceptional service and growth. This is a dynamic leadership role with a focus on results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the industry.
• Sales experience required.
• Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Oversee and manage all staff within the location.
• Track and report sales performance, oversee fixed operations, and property management.
• Ability to manage several customer needs at any given time.

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Automotive General Manager to take the wheel and lead our dealership to the next level of success. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll oversee all aspects of the dealership—from sales and service to finance and fixed operations—while building a motivated team and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Location: 1655 Upper James St, Hamilton ON

Hours: Varies - Monday to Saturday

Earning potential is based on your ability to sell effectively and run a profitable dealership. We provide you the tools and training required to excel in this position.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Follow the daily checklist for the department

What You Bring to the Table:

Applicants must have a desire and passion for the automotive industry with a strong management background!

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
