Job summary

HMS Careers Inc. is recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead a luxury lifestyle hotel in Toronto.

This leadership role requires direct lifestyle hotel leadership experience and a track record of strong financial and operational results. The ideal candidate will build a distinctive guest experience, oversee F&B leadership, and manage owner and stakeholder relations while shaping culture and guest connection.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience with a lifestyle hotel is required
• Luxury or upper-upscale hotel experience preferred
• Strong Food & Beverage leadership
• Proven P&L, revenue and financial management experience
• Strong owner relations and stakeholder management
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of lifestyle positioning, culture and guest experience
• Canadian hotel leadership experience strongly preferred
• Union experience is an asset

• Lead a luxury lifestyle hotel and drive exceptional guest experiences.
• Deliver strong financial and operational results while maintaining brand standards.

This is a key requirement for the position. Traditional full-service, luxury or upscale hotel experience alone will not be sufficient without direct lifestyle hotel leadership experience.

We are looking for a proven General Manager who understands what makes the lifestyle segment different. Someone who can deliver strong financial and operational results while creating the culture, energy, food and beverage experience, local connection and distinctive guest experience expected from a lifestyle property.
