Hyatt General Managers are the embodiment of the Hyatt brand experience and culture, accountable for:
- Overseeing the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of the property, ensuring operational excellence.
- Aligning with Hyatt’s core values to maximize revenue and profit opportunities and managing the property asset effectively.
- Leading a team with integrity to build trust and cultivate positive guest and colleague experiences.
- Continuously improving all areas of the property and adapting to rapidly changing environments.

Operations & Business Acumen
- Managing owners’ assets with a focus on maximizing returns and delivering Hyatt’s value proposition.
- Developing and executing a multi-year business strategy focused on brand positioning.
- Maintaining positive relationships with property ownership.
- Utilizing data insights for decision-making.
- Understanding financials, including departmental P&Ls, financial reporting, forecasting, and planning.
- Improving practices to meet guest quality expectations.
- Optimizing sales and revenue management strategies for growth and profitability.
- Ensuring the property is well-maintained to preserve asset value.
- Leading capital planning and using owner’s capital effectively.
- Embracing technology and digital initiatives to enhance performance.
- Ensuring safety for colleagues and guests.
- Aligning operations, guest service, and offerings with the brand.

Qualifications
- Current luxury hotel General Manager experience required.
- Experience with commercial services preferred.
- Food & Beverage experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing owner relations and leading in unionized environments.
- Educational background with ongoing learning.
