Reports to: Director, Medical Imaging

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Salary: $54.35 - $67.94/hour or $105,983 – $132,483/year

Shifts: Weekdays, Monday - Friday

Status: Permanent Full Time

Closing Date: May 16, 2025

Position Summary

The Manager will lead operations across UHN sites for radiography, ultrasound, and breast imaging, focusing on access to care, human resources, quality, financial management, and strategic planning, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Duties
  • Manage all aspects of radiography, ultrasound, and breast imaging modalities
  • Collaborate with physicians to improve access and quality of care
  • Stay updated on leading practices and innovations
  • Lead incident management and practice initiatives
  • Build a high-engagement environment for team members
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and take corrective actions
  • Share best practices with other managers
  • Assess business and operational needs
  • Manage budgets and financial performance
  • Lead staff recruitment, retention, coaching, and mentoring
  • Address team disputes and concerns fairly
  • Coordinate with other departments on operational issues
  • Develop business relationships locally and nationally
  • Communicate policy and operational updates
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in business, public health, health administration, or equivalent
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Medical Imaging
  • 10+ years leadership experience, including 5+ years managing staff
  • Recognition in a medical imaging discipline preferred
  • Membership in professional bodies preferred
  • Experience working with senior personnel
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
