Job summary

Germain Hotels in Toronto is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer. You’ll drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction and financial performance while upholding Germain’s culture of hospitality.

This role requires 5–10 years in hotel leadership, a hotel management degree, and a track record of coaching teams in luxury or boutique properties. You’ll influence community engagement and run a people-focused hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in hotel management or bachelor's degree in management.
• 5 to 10 years' experience as a general or operations manager in a hotel.
• Experience in food and beverage management and luxury or boutique hotels.
• Strong coaching and motivational abilities.

• Pay or shift range: $115,000 CAD to $165,000 CAD

Where applicable, this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus plan.

This hands-on manager contributes directly to creating a strong synergy within the hotel team and uses the art of unreasonable hospitality to run smooth operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Diploma in hotel management or bachelor's degree in management
• 5 to 10 years' experience as a general or operations manager in a hotel - experience in food and beverage management as well as in luxury or boutique hotels
• Natural ability to coach, inspire, and mobilize teams
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, initiative, and customer service skills
• Good analytical skills and ability to manage time and priorities

The annual salary for this role is between 115 000$ and 165 000$, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This position may be eligible for anannual discretionary bonus in accordance with the current bonus plan.
