Venor is thrilled to partner with our client, Majestic Metals Ltd. in their search for a General Manager. Majestic Metals Ltd. is a trusted leader in Newfoundland and Labrador’s construction industry, supplying and installing high-quality metal roofing, steel siding, and custom metalwork for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. With a reputation built on precision, craftsmanship, and customer-first service, Majestic Metals has become a preferred partner for durable and attractive building solutions across the province.

Majestic Metals Ltd. is seeking a strategic, results-oriented General Manager to lead the company through its next phase of growth. Reporting to ownership, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of business operations—sales, production, customer service, and financial performance—while developing and executing a growth strategy that expands market share and deepens customer relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who can balance operational excellence with entrepreneurial drive.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Team Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production, timely delivery, and quality installation of products and services.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to drive accountability, improve performance, and support continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team across sales, production, and administration.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts; monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective strategies.
  • Analyze key business metrics to support decision-making and ensure long-term sustainability.

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to grow revenue, expand into new markets, and increase profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
  • Strengthen and diversify the customer base through proactive business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Continue to build key partnerships with contractors, builders, developers, and other key stakeholders.

Customer and Market Focus

  • Ensure superior customer experience from initial contact through to final delivery and after-sales support.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Promote Majestic Metals’ brand in the community and through strategic marketing channels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or building materials.
  • Proven ability to scale operations, lead teams, and grow revenue in a competitive market.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, P&L oversight, and operational planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of or experience with metal roofing/siding products and installation is considered a strong asset.
