Job summary

Germain Hotels seeks a General Manager for Alt Hotel Toronto Airport to lead by example, driving financial performance and delivering a memorable guest experience. This hands-on leader mobilizes the team to uphold Germain Hotels’ hospitality standards and aligns operations with company values.

The role requires coaching and developing staff, managing F&B and luxury/boutique service expectations, and actively engaging with the community to raise the property's profile.

Qualifications

• Diploma in hotel management or bachelor’s degree in management.
• 5–10 years’ experience as a general manager in a hotel, with F&B and luxury/boutique exposure.
• Natural ability to coach, inspire and mobilize teams.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, initiative and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage time and priorities.

• 5 to 10 years' experience as a general manager in a hotel - experience in food and beverage management as well as in luxury or boutique hotels
• Natural ability to coach, inspire, and mobilize teams
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, initiative, and customer service skills
• Good analytical skills and ability to manage time and priorities

The annual salary for this role is between 115 000$ and 145 000$, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with the current bonus plan.
