Insight Global is seeking a General Manager (GM) for a permanent position within a product development and manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage teams across technology, finance, operations, and revenue, and drive growth by aligning resources with revenue and profit goals. The GM will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement strategies that foster organizational success. Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or industrial operations is essential.

Must Haves:

1. 8+ years in a senior leadership role, preferably within manufacturing, electronics, or industrial sectors.
2. Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
3. Expertise in P&L management, financial forecasting, and operational efficiency.
4. Experience with B2B client relations, product pricing, and contract negotiations.
5. Background in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.
6. Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., CSA / Intertek, ISO 9001).
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
8. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP.
9. Experience with CRM/PRM tools, such as PipeDrive.
10. Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and proven leadership ability.

Plusses:

1. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other ERP solutions.
2. Familiarity with PipeDrive or similar CRM/PRM tools.
3. Experience with BambooHR or other HR management tools.
4. Understanding of product pricing, market positioning, and contract negotiations.
5. Knowledge of the global oil and gas market and competition.
6. Skills in process design, implementation, and improvement.
7. Experience with product development and embedded systems.
8. Understanding of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, and quality control.
9. Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., CSA / Intertek, ISO 9001).
