About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and dependable General Maintenance Worker to support their facilities in Kimberley . This role involves a broad range of tasks to ensure the upkeep and operational readiness of their premises, including basic repairs, groundskeeping, and assisting with minor installations. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with practical skills across various maintenance disciplines, contributing to the smooth operation of the facility in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on building structures, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and resetting breakers.
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of grounds, including landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform tasks related to general repairs and upkeep throughout the facility.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner and that tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a general maintenance or handyman role is required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
