Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking a versatile General Maintenance Worker to support facilities with routine upkeep, basic repairs, groundskeeping, and minor installations. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment for staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have practical maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, plus the ability to operate common hand and power tools and to work independently in a facility setting.

Qualifications

• Previous general maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good physical condition for manual labor and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on building structures.
• Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs, replace fixtures, bulbs, and reset breakers.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform general upkeep tasks.
