Northern Farms in Arthur, ON is seeking General Labourers for meat processing on a full-time day shift. You will work in a fast-paced plant handling cutting, trimming, packaging, and sanitation.

About the Role

The Operations Associate supports meat processing activities across the plant, including cutting, trimming, packaging, sanitation, and general production tasks. This is a physical, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform production tasks (cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging)
• Operate tools and machinery (including saws/blades)
• Support harvesting/kill floor operations
• Rotate between departments as needed
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Follow all health & safety procedures and use PPE
• Assist with end-of-shift clean-up and sanitation

What You Bring

• Ability to perform repetitive physical work
• Comfortable working with raw meat, cold temperatures, noise, and strong odors
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Team-oriented attitude

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience in food manufacturing or meat processing
• Knife skills or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of HACCP/GMPs

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods
• Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs (with or without assistance)
• Working in cold/refrigerated environments
