Job summary

Fountain Tire St. Albert is seeking a responsible general labourer to join our automotive team in a clean, safe, and respectful environment.

You’ll start at $16 per hour with health, dental, and vision benefits, plus RRSP with company matching. The regular full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday (11am–7pm) and every second Saturday (8am–5pm), with opportunities for training and advancement to leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Customer-service focus with the ability to develop relationships with teammates and customers.
• Willingness to learn and train for new skills and certifications.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety transporting customers and picking up parts.
• Pulling and storing tires and other products to company standards.
• Completing tire pressure checks and retorques.
• Maintaining knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers and handling instructions.
• Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts.
• Work alone and with a team to proactively increase efficiency.

Fountain Tire St. Albert an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a General Labourer!

You will be responsible for

• Safety transporting customers and picking up parts

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
